Timothy Here Again,
Every serious ICAN student will be preparing early for their exams, especially those who did not pass any paper or move to the next level. There is a need to examine yourself before you get started again.
Frankly, it is a fact of life that there are winners and losers. The choice you make both, physically and mentally, will determine where you sincerely belong.
Hence, This post is strictly for students who procrastinate and students who did not pass or qualify as planned. And as you read this, I want you to take action immediately without delay.
It is pronounced that Attitudes are more important than facts. That is, whatever fact facing us, however difficult, even seemingly hopeless, is not as important as your attitude towards that fact.
How you think about a fact may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. As a result, we can say that attitude is divided into 2 with one having a higher hand over the other.
1. Mental Attitude
2. Physical Attitude
Mental attitude is your state of mind. What you think about yourself. Do you see yourself as a conqueror? Do you exhibit fear or doubt? Are the thoughts about you negative or positive? This is a state of mind where you become what you think about.
Physical attitude is a reflection of your mental state. If your mental state is positive, then you will take action where need be. You will see opportunities in occurrence instead of obstacles.
If it is negative then you will be doubtful, blame your work, family, and finance for holding you back, waiting for the perfect time, procrastination will be the order of the day.
So, when it boils down to passing your ICAN exams, your mental state plays an immense role in assisting to examine yourself to see where you did not do very well and then improve on it.
As a result, if you did not pass the May 2022 Diet exams or you procrastinated again, don’t give up on yourself. Change your mental attitude towards your exams. That is,
1. Find out what went wrong.
2. Why have you been failing?
3. Why are you not studying daily?
4. What are those habits that make you give excuses.?
5. Why do you postpone the exams?
6. Why have you been writing one or more courses again and again?
7. Why have negative feelings towards ICAN knowing fully well that such an attitude will hinder your progress.?8. Why are you not grasping fundamental concepts?
Don’t forget that “Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain”. Try something different because doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome is folly.
