After yesterday’s hectic work, I closed in the evening then went home to unwind. Although, there was no traffic because most Lagosians that travelled for the festive season have not fully returned to Lagos.
So, immediately I go home, I just turned the TV and immediately turned it into the movie channel to see if I could get some adrenaline pumped into my heart.
There I saw the Movie “Airforce One”. It was a 1997 movie and a blockbuster. The movie was about The president of the USA is returning home from Moscow when his plane, Air Force One, was hijacked and he finds himself in a do-or-die hostage situation. President, a Veteran, fights to rescue the hostages on board.
The president never failed. He was just using different plans, methods to fight the terrorists. If one plan fails, he adopts another. There was a time he called Washington to ask how to make the airplane lose fuel so as to force the terrorists to land. He did not place self-limiting beliefs on himself, instead, he did everything in his own power to disrupt the activities of the terrorists. At the end of the day, he was able to gain control back of the airplane and saved several crew members.
Similarly, as a student who is writing ICAN exams and your chief aim is pass and qualify at a particular time, don’t need to give up whether you have written the exams before or you are just starting. Like president James in Airforce One, you are to adopt another plan when one plan fails.
That is, you are to keep on pushing bearing in mind that there is no such thing as something for nothing. Nature will give up to you the object of your struggles only after you have paid her price which is CONTINUOUS UNYEILDING, PERSISTENT EFFORT to qualify.
