Yesterday’s post was an eye-opener for me because it exposed a lot of inner discussions students have on a daily basis. We are going to be looking at them. Yesterday, one of our students, Bella asked me.
Apart from motivation and Focus, How do I remember effectively whatever I study?
I chuckled because it is a common question I got asked every time.
Now, when it’s about remembering the things you have studied, I have given several tips regarding it.
The first thing you need to know is what kind of learner you are. You need to understand yourself first. No two people learn the same way, but there are styles you can lean toward:
There are 3 types of learners:
- Visual Learners
- Auditory Learners
- Kinesthetic Learners
- Visual learners learn best by seeing. They like to watch how something is done. They do best when they can look at a chart, or see the words written on the board, etc.
This type of learner may be able to remember where on a page he/she saw something. For visual learners, you need to create visuals while studying.
- Auditory learners learn best by hearing. They will do better listening to someone talk about a subject than just reading it.
- Kinesthetic learners need to move or feel while learning. They’ll do best if they can get up and walk around while studying.
