Your week 3 ICAN Support Class continues today with Taxation from 8:00pm to 10:00pm and Strategic Financial Management – SFM- from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Yesterday was all about Tobi Amusan who broke the world record twice in 100m Women Hurdles. She became the 1st woman to run below 12.12sec. Her display was a classical example of consistency.
She has been on it since 2016, she became 11th in Rio, 14th in London in 2017, 4th in Doha 2019, 4th in Tokyo 2021, then in 2022 she became a world champion.
In between those years, I am sure that she felt like giving up, but she kept pushing and pushing. This is what consistency means in a real-life scenario.
Similarly, if you have been writing your ICAN exams and you have neither moved to the next level nor qualified because of one or more courses.
Don’t ever give up. Keep pushing.
And if you have given up already, you will not be able to qualify just like if Tobi had given up and stopped believing in herself, she won’t be able to reach her goal of becoming a world champ. Someone else would have taken her glory. After all, nature hates Vacuum.
Similarly, if you don’t qualify, someone else will take your opportunity. Because you gave up, instead of making it a declaration to die there. Make it a must like Tobi, who said in 2016 in a tweet “unknown now but I will be unforgettable… I will persist until I succeed”
Knowing what you now know, do you want to give up or keep pushing? Put in mind that whatever you become tomorrow is shaped and predetermined by your choice of today.
