Take these 3 habits with you anywhere you go this week

Timothy Here Again,

Your ICAN November Diet Exams is 5days to go and I am very sure that you are doing everything in your power dealing with your revision.

However, there is the need to reinforce the fact that there are some habits you need to avoid like rattlesnake within the next couple of days.

They include

  1. Do not read any large sections of textbook material for the first time. As we all know only too well, there are always some chapters you just overlook or ignore as we’re studying. You didn’t have time to read it earlier. That’s OK. Consider it a sunk activity. It’s better to be confident about the things you’ve already covered and studied than get confused and lose confidence because you’re obsessed about what you’ve missed.
  2. Do not watch TV, listen to the news, or scroll through your Facebook or Instagram feed. If your exam is coming right up, it’s important to allow your brain time to mobilize, concentrate and consolidate the material you’ve covered, without adding more irrelevant/negative information.
  3. Most importantly, do not panic or worry about the exam. It’s normal to have a certain level of anxiety—if it’s small, it can work for you. But you’re not going to do yourself any favour if you spin out of control and start telling yourself you’re not prepared. That’s just negative self-talk, and you can reduce it by making small changes in your attitude and behaviour.
