Last week Thursday, the result of the ICAN November 2020 Diet exams was released, and I was delighted that most of our students who:

ICAN’s Recent Directions
With the recent notifications from the Institute, there are some modifications to your ICAN programme – like the exam period will now be May and November. This is as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, according to ICAN.
Regarding the syllabus, this diet exam (May 2021) will be tested based on the 2019 syllabus while the November Diet will be tested based on the new 2021 syllabus.
Some Implications of the Announcements
and Why You Should Act Fast!
Don’t be too relaxed with the 2019 syllabus because things are changing fast and the society is evolving based on the current reality and I am so sure that, in your case, the Institute will not want to produce an obsolete Chartered Accountant.
So, what if ICAN set questions based on some “current and emerging issues”? (e.g. if a question touch on the new Finance Act?). This is not the first time that such as happened; so you must, at all times, be on guard.
Now is your best shot to move forward and qualify…
- Use this period to move to the next level.
- Use this window to qualify as ACA on time.
- Use the materials that contain both 2019 and the 2021 syllabi (where you can peep into some current and emerging issues topics – to have some ideas, just “in case of incasity”).
