As your ICAN Exam gets closer and closer, students tend to adopt different methods of studying.
Some are very important and advantageous while others are at a disadvantage which most times contributes to your exam failure.
As a result, we will be looking at 2 methods of studying that you must not be involved in either consciously or subconsciously. I recommend that you avoid them the exact way you will Japa when you see a Lion running towards you.
They are:
1. Allowing distractions to take over your sec, minutes, hours and day. This applies to watching TV every evening. Sending chats to friends throughout the day; spending time on social media, Listening to the news, scrolling through Instagram, and Facebook feeds, watching Tiktok and hiding under the excuse that you want to ease your stress will waste your time.
2. Staying up all night cramming. Yes, your ICAN Exam is coming up next month and you may feel like panicking one week before the day arrives. But it’s important not to neglect your brain because your brain needs time to process and consolidate the new material you’ve covered so that it can recall information whenever you need it. You may not have time for a full 8 hours, but do your best to sleep 6–7 hours each night if possible.
