Yesterday I sent in a post regarding testimony from Bauchi and as a result, we received several responses. The common ones centre on the fact that, students claim to have studied very hard and still fail.
If not for the PlatinumGold daily posts that usually serve as a push, many students would have given up.
Personally, I have addressed this issue times without numbers that if you have been studying and not moving to the next level then it could be.
1. Your method of study: Are you studying on a daily basis or do you study 5 hours today, then another 5 hours next week? Also, don’t forget that when studying, you should start from the beginning by doing a 10mins to 15mins review of your previous study depending on the wide range of the syllabus so as to make what you have read earlier stick.
2. Study with 100% understanding or study for study sake: Do you study for study sake just to convince yourself that you are studying? When in actual fact you don’t have an in-depth knowledge of the topic.
3. Psychological issues: here these are non-physical things which you have accepted subconsciously.
– You don’t like calculation courses which are inevitable because you will still meet them at the professional level.
– Probably you must have developed a fear for the course that when it gets to the exams, your brain reacts to the implanted fear and as a result gbam. You will either forget completely or be mixing Z for A.
4. Have faith in yourself that God has given you the ability and capacity to become anything you want to be. A million shall fall by your right hand and 1 billion on your left hand.
Hence, look in-depth and check why you are not doing well then make an amendment immediately.
