When ants are faced with an obstacle, for instance, a wall in front of them; they will either find a way around it, behind it or below it. They can even penetrate through the wall to achieve their goal.
You just put a stone or any other obstacles where ants are while you observe their reaction. They will do everything in their power to penetrate. If possible, they will dig, create a hole, pass the top or go through another route.
On the other hand, humans are naturally lazy and we construct a lot of excuses for not achieving our goals. In my years of experience, I have seen reasons/ excuses that prevent many students from achieving their dreams of Qualifying
For instance, I got a call from Sarah last year January who told me in her own words That “I am just trying to study. The family has shown themselves to be number one”.
So I went to ask if some of her tasks could be outsourced she said “No, the only thing will be to reduce involvement in a lot of things. But there are things that come from extended family that need my attention from both maiden and marital side”
All her points were very valid and sincerely authentic. However, life does not work that way because it is what you ask of life that will be given to you. In fact, you have to take it by force sometimes. Which could come with temporary pain, and everlasting benefit.
Yes, we don’t see it from the point of view that the pain is temporary and the benefit is forever. Once the certificate is acquired, you won’t sit for the exam again in your lifetime.
Ironically, we want to get things sharp-sharp so we perceive events based on immediate and short-term benefits. And as a result, only a few have been able to break out of their comfort zone and go through the rigour of burning all bridges until the ACA qualification is acquired.
